Wesley Mancini of Charlotte has been chosen to receive the International Textile Market Association's inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.
That group of roughly 200 members is the largest organization of decorative covering suppliers in the United States and counts among its ranks converters, mills, tanneries, and trimmings manufacturers, according to a news release.
Mancini is an acclaimed textile fabric designer as well as an advocate for the arts and for human rights.
