Julionne Johnson has always expressed a love for sewing and designing since in high school when she took Home Economics. Julionne’s grandmother presented her with a sewing machine for Christmas in 2012. As much as she had a passion for sewing the only problem was after trials and errors, she realized that this was not possible to excel in. Simple hemlines and zipper fix were possible but no extravagant sewing that would stand out. With her creative background as an actor, writer, director, and not giving up attitude, she got the idea about making a paper skirt for a creative photoshoot as a model in September 2013. Julionne received compliments from photographers and other models for the outbox thinking and designs.
In December 2013, Julionne started her own clothing design Recycled Integrated Possibilities (R.I.P) Designs, fashion with a creative twist and used recycle paper & materials to create all types of designs. Julionne signed up with Patricia Sharma owner of Snooty Booty Designs to help connect Julionne with Modele Net an online modeling agency. As a recycle designer with model Net, R.I.P Design began to gain numerous clienteles.
R.I.P Designs collections have been worn by numerous models and has been seen on the runway such as the Charlotte Fashion Week, NC Fashion Week, St. Louis Red Carpet Extravaganza in St. Louis, East Coast Take7 Fashion Show in New Jersey, Renaldo Style Fashion Week in Fairmont, NC and Le Reve Elite Supermodel fashion show in Georgia. R.I.P Designs next stop is New Jersey City for the upcoming Fashion Week in September 2015. The possibilities are unlimited for this talented young lady.
